(Groom), the woman who stands by your side is about to become your wife. She will look to you for comfort, support, understanding, encouragement, and protection. You must never take her for granted, and always consider her along with yourself. (Groom), Do you take (Bride) to be your wedded Wife? Do you promise to love her, comfort her, honor and keep her, in sickness and in health; and forsaking all others keep yourself only to her so long as you both shall live? Groom: “I do.”
